Diners can sit inside the dining room, outside on the veranda, or on the garden patio. Refined without being snooty, staff is professional and accommodating. Traditional French dishes are prepared with island produce and seafood. Fresh ingredients such as fish, Kauai beef and locally grown vegetables are gathered each morning. Lobster salad with vinaigrette de curry is a great way to warm the palate. Shiitake and oyster mushrooms in a puff pastry, served as a side or an appetizer, is infused with savory hints of wild ginger and lemon. For an entree, rack of lamb is a popular favorite.
