The summer event both visitors and kama'aina alike look forward to all year long. Mangoes make their sweet return to the Moana Surfrider for the 9th Annual Mangoes at the Moana! A mango-lovers dream, the festival features an ultimate mango throwdown featuring local celebrity chefs, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment and many other activities throughout the day.
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS
Ultimate Mango Throwdown
The ultra-popular showdown between top Island chefs going head-to-head in the ultimate Mango Throwdown featuring culinary talent from Pig and the Lady, MW Restaurant, Koko Head Cafe, Tiki's Bar and Grill, Taormina, Fete Hawaii, Turtle Bay Resort and RumFire.
Be sure to stop by the Southern Wine & Spirits booth for tasty mango-centric libations by mixologists from Azure Restaurant & Bar and Splash Bar.
Live performance by local artist Sean Na'auao
Well-known for his cover of Mana'o Company's Drop Baby Drop (the mango song) as well as his hits Fish & Poi and Surf Pa'ina, Sean will perform live at Beach Bar.
Best Mango Contest
Avid local growers from the community are welcome to submit their homegrown backyard mangoes for a chance to be named "Best Mango" by a panel of judges and win a 2-night stay at the Moana Surfrider.
Also a Farmers Market, pop-up Bakeshop, Silent Auction benefiting the Kapiolani Community College Culinary Arts Program, as well as engaging seminars for mango growing enthusiast, cooking demonstrations by the Moana Surfrider Culinary team, and more!
TICKETS
$55 Pre-Sale Ticket from now until July 8, includes admission to all festival activities and 8 scripps each good for 1 food or beverage during the Ultimate Mango Throwdown.
$60 after July 8 online and at-door price $60.
Additional food and beverage scripps will be available for purchase at the event for $8 per scripp.
