The view and atmosphere at the Banyan Court is the quintessential Hawaiian vacation experience. Really relaxing and romantic place to sit, drink, settle down, and people watch. Unfortunately, you won't be able to catch the sunset from this location. There are hotels blocking the actual view, but you can see the residual effects. Good selection of tropical drinks and typical bar menu options. If you like fruity mixed drinks, then I super duper highly recommend the Lava Flow - rum with coconut cream, pineapple juice, banana, and a strawberry swirl. Tasted like a heavenly mix between a pina colada and a strawberry daiquiri. Yum, yum, YUM!! Very casual beach bar located next to Waikiki Beach and the pool area of the Moana Surfrider hotel. On the evening we went, the crowd consisted of mostly middle-age/older tourists. Tables for 2 to 4 people and available seats at the bar. During the day, the best spots are tables right along the edge!
