Hawaii Kai Towne Center’s Mele on the Marina Festival, presented by Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, welcomes Kapena, on Saturday, August 26! This free community event begins at 3 p.m, with music and entertainment throughout the afternoon.
The summer series, also sponsored by Great Clips Hawaii and Sushiman, at Hawaii Kai Towne Center, celebrates music and Hawaiian culture. It begins at 3 p.m, with Duncan Kamakana, followed by a hula performance by Ka Pā Hula O Kauanoe O Wa‘ahila, under the direction of Kumu Hula Maelia Loebenstein Carter. Kapena takes the stage at 6 p.m. There will also be a variety of booths and vendors to enjoy.
