Hawaii Kai Towne Center's Mele on the Marina Festival, presented by Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, kicks off with the Makaha Sons, on Saturday, June 24.

The free community event begins at 3 p.m, with music and entertainment throughout the afternoon. Families are welcome to the three-part summer series, in June, July and August.
The festival, also sponsored by Great Clips Hawaii and Sushiman at Hawaii Kai Towne Center, is a free community event, celebrating music and Hawaiian culture. It begins at 3 p.m, with slack key guitarist Dayton Watanabe. Halau Hula ‘o Kawaiho‘omalu performs hula beginning at 5 p.m. The Makaha Sons take the stage at 6 p.m. There will also be a variety of booths and vendors to enjoy.
