On Easter Sunday, SALT at Our Kaka‘ako welcomes Pokémon trainers, children and their families for an Easter egg and Pokémon hunt, on April 16, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Event Details
For Pokémon GO players and fans, lures will be dropped every 30 minutes at SALT at Our Kaka‘ako PokéStops during the entire event. Attendees can also enjoy an Easter egg hunt for prizes. Among the eggs will be several special “golden eggs,” with up to $100 in cash and prizes. Egg hunt registration begins at 1 p.m. SALT merchants will also offer special deals on the day of the event.
“Last year’s Hawaii Pokémon GO Fest at SALT at Our Kaka‘ako was really fun and well attended. Bringing Pokémon together with an Easter egg hunt is something we know that the community will enjoy,” said Staci Balmoja, of the SALT at Our Kakaʻako management office. “With fun activities and a variety of stores and dining offered at SALT, this is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.”
Music will be provided by DJ Romeo Valentine. There will also be Pokémon-themed activities, including a Pokémon costume contest, Instagram raffle, prize giveaways and photo opportunities with the Hawaii Pokémon GO girls. Parking for the event is available in the SALT at Our Kaka‘ako parking structure, accessible from Keawe Street.
