Join us in our annual Pineapple Drop event at Town Center of Mililani!
Event Details
Town Center of Mililani rings in the New Year, at its Pineapple Drop, featuring Kimberley Locke, an American Idol second runner up and host of the show Dr. & The Diva, as this year’s headliner. The free event has become Central O‘ahu’s biggest family-friendly New Year’s celebration.
Enjoy entertainment, starting at 5 p.m., with the program emceed by Devon Nekoba. Performers include the Asian Lion Dance Team, Ryugen Taiko, Treasure Box Studio dance groups and Kalena’s Polynesian Ohana fire knife dancers. There will also be prizes and giveaways, throughout the event.
Headliner Kimberley Locke was the American Idol season 2 second runner up. Locke hosts the popular morning talk show Dr. & The Diva, with Dr. Steve Salvatore. Enjoy an exciting performance from the acclaimed singer, before the pineapple drops.
At 7 p.m. (midnight New York time), the spectacular 12-foot tall pineapple descends, glowing with more than 2,000 bulbs, synced with the Times Square Garden Ball Drop.
Town Center of Mililani’s Pineapple Drop is the only event of its kind in Central O‘ahu, welcoming visitors from throughout the island for a friendly, safe and exciting New Year’s celebration. The public is encouraged to purchase food and drinks from the variety of tenants at Town Center of Mililani. Grills and coolers are not allowed at the event.
