Event Details
Hawaii Youth Symphony and Pacific Music Institute present a free concert performed by Youth Symphony II, with conductors Susan Ochi-Onishi and Elton Masaki. Please come and support over 90 of Hawaii’s top young musicians, on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m., in The Barn at SALT at Our Kaka'ako.
Selections include:
G. Rossini “Barber of Seville” Overture
Pat Metheny “Phase Dance”
G. Bizet “Carmen Suite”
Fedor Vrtacnik “Between East & West”
Stephen Schwartz “The Prince of Egypt”
The concert is presented in partnership with SALT at Our Kaka’ako. Hawaii Youth Symphony’s mission is to help youth develop to their fullest potential through orchestral music, in the setting of our Islands’ unique culture.
