Event Details
Rotary Club of East Honolulu presents its annual fundraiser, Sake Sushi, featuring sushi, sake, Japanese food and live entertainment, at the historic Natsunoya Tea House. Enjoy sushi and sake buffet-style, bid in a silent auction and support Rotary’s efforts to better the community. Tickets are available online and cost $75.
For those who love sushi but would prefer to drink something other than sake, this event is BYOB. There is no-corkage fee. Attendees may bring a bottle of wine to enjoy and share with others.
Sake Sushi at Natsunoya Tea House will help Rotary Club of East Honolulu, which celebrated its 60th anniversary this year, continue its service projects and programs. Rotary members devote themselves to a variety of projects both locally and internationally.
Projects include building playgrounds for various organizations, collecting school supplies, providing Christmas gifts for each student at Palolo Elementary School, and awarding scholarships to college-bound students. Recently, Rotary Club of East Honolulu partnered with other Oahu Rotary Clubs to provide welcome kits to families moving into Kahauiki Village, a plantation-style community helping the homeless.
