Event Details
11th Annual Mauka to Makai Environmental Expo. Held in conjunction with Earth Month, this FREE family-friendly event promotes the importance of keeping Hawaii clean and free of pollution, from the mountaintops to the ocean.
Guests will enjoy interactive booths, entertainment and a variety of hands-on learning activities and displays that showcase preservation and protection of Hawaii’s environment. Among the activities will be a fish release courtesy of Oceanic Institute and a native plant giveaway.
Food will be available for purchase, and complimentary water stations will be provided by Kokua Foundation for guests who bring refillable water bottles.
This event is free and open to the public. Free parking and shuttles will be available at Jefferson Elementary School beginning at 8:45 a.m.
