Step aboard the Star of Honolulu's signature Five Star Sunset Dining & Jazz Cruise for an evening of luxury and world-class dining.

Chef de Cuisine Norman Soderberg is proud to introduce his new 7-course summer menu featuring the refreshing flavors of summer and a variety of locally-grown produce.
The spectacular evening of extravagant dining begins with a pier-side welcome hula and a Captain’s Welcome Reception, where guests are greeted by a signature Hawaiian Bellini and an assortment of delicious summer canapés, including ricotta and goat cheese cream with plums, caramelized onion jam and mushrooms on crispy polenta and spiced shrimp with tzatziki.
After departing from the pier, dinner continues in the luxurious Art Deco Super Nova room with roasted tomato and basil bisque with crab raviolo and crème fraiche. Next is a pan seared foie gras salad of micro greens, roasted figs, mango marmalade and sherry vinaigrette.
The first main course features an air-flown live Maine lobster paired with caviar, heirloom potato confit, baby vegetables and lobster nage. An intermezzo of refreshing pineapple and mint sorbet follows to cleanse the palate, before continuing with the next course of porcini crusted highest-grade prime tenderloin of beef alongside white asparagus, eggplant, wild mushroom ragout and demi-glace.
For dessert, macadamia nut dacquoise paired with coconut panna cotta and complimented by lilikoi mousse and fresh fruits bring the summer menu to a sweet ending.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy the sounds of an enchanting Jazz trio of some of Oahu’s top musicians, as they sail along the Waikiki coastline at sunset, creating the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable evening. On Fridays, guests will have the added bonus of watching Waikiki fireworks light up the sky.
The Five Star Sunset Dining & Jazz cruise departs nightly from Pier 8 at Aloha Tower Marketplace at 5:30 p.m., with the Captain’s Welcome Reception beginning at 4:45 p.m. and returns at 8:00 p.m.; 8:30 p.m. on Fridays. The Five Star Sunset Dining & Jazz Cruise is $199 for adults; not recommended for children.
