The Mele on the Marina Festival, presented by Hawaii State FCU, returns to Hawaii Kai Towne Center, with the legendary Makaha Sons on Saturday, Oct. 13. The free family-friendly event, sponsored by Great Clips, and Hawaii Dermatology and Plastic Surgery Centers, begins at 3 p.m, with entertainment throughout the afternoon. The Mele on the Marina Festival celebrates music and local culture, at Hawaii Kai Towne Center’s Marina Docks.
Halau Na Maka O Ka Laua’e kicks off the festival at 3 p.m., followed by musician Mike Tulba.
