The Prince Connects series stems from Prince Waikiki’s “sense of place” and how fresh water streams and sea water met here in the muliwai. Prince Connects is a meeting place to share ideas, stories, and experiences. It is a platform to explore the lives of Hawai‘i’s artists, leaders, movers, and shakers.
Prince Connects launches with two inspiring individuals who represent and share the Chamorro culture. Craig Santos Perez is a native Chamorro and nationally renowned poet who will be sharing his story as well as a selection of his poems. 100 Sails Restaurant & Bar’s Chef de Cuisine Joseph Almoguera was born and raised in Guam and shares his Chamorro culture through his cuisine creations. Chef will be creating a special selection of Chamorro cuisine for attendees to experience.
